en-us My Passion for Scrapbooking http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/ Damask Divas Team Blog Hop Featuring Hello Lovely http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-110888/Hello-Lovely-Weekly-Planner-Setup.html I was a busy bee crafting away this weekend. I've been having so much fun making things for my planner. I decided for this months Blog Hop with my Damask Divas Team featuring Hello Lovely, that I'd make some more goodies using this adorable Hello Lovely paper pack.

I ended up making A5 sized dividers, matching clips, a charm using our Base & Bling Jewelry and some page markers. Then I grabbed the Hello Lovely Scrapbooking Stamp Set and random stamped the top section of the Inkwell Press Planner Pages. I'm so obsessed with this weeks setup in my planner and how it's all so Hello Lovely. ;) For the stamping I used the Plan On It Stamp Set.... I love it!!! What do you think?

To make the dividers I used Cricut Design Space. It was super easy to make. I just used a square and unlocked it to make it a rectangle shape in the dimensions of my planner and then searched images for "bracket" and located one that was with Cricut Access. I divided the length of the dividers by how many tabs I wanted which was 5 and then copied and pasted 5 of them in the size needed. I also copied and pasted 5 of the rectangles and then 1 by 1 I welded the bracket with a rectangle. It's really easy but if this is going way over your head and you would like the link to the ones I created, well... you're in luck. :) I'm happy to share. Here you go: LINK TO MY CRICUT DESIGN SPACE DIVIDERS. If you pay for Cricut Access, the bracket will not cost you anything. If you don't have a subscription it will probably ask you to pay 99 cents for the use of the bracket.

The laminator I use is the Scotch Thermal Laminator. I've been really happy with it. It's heats up quickly and easy to run my projects through. I used our Liquid Glass adhesive to attach the laminated pieces (which were from the Hello Lovely Complements) and then just attached them to paper clips. I love having the pieces stick up the top of my planner.

For the planner charm I used the Base & Bling Rectangle Pendant, the bow, the rhinestone and the glass cover. I cut a piece of the Hello Lovely paper to fit inside it. You can check out the Base & Bling items, HERE.

I hope you'll HOP with us and check out some of my fabulous team members Hello Lovey Projects as well. CLICK HERE to visit Jessica's project. If you get lost along the way, you can visit our team blog by clicking HERE.

Valentines Tree http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-110640/Valentines-Tree.html I've always wanted a Valentine's tree but have never got around to doing one.... but NOW I have one. Yay, I'm so excited and wanted to share...

The idea popped up again after the kids and I had taken all the Christmas décor down and put it away but were waiting on my hubby to put up the tree. After it sat a couple days with the lights still on, I mentioned how pretty it still looked and I was sad to take it down. Then I said to my husband, "would you care if I did a Valentine's Day themed tree?". Of course this prompted the kids to chant "VALENTINES TREE, VALENTINES TREE". And well the hubby can't say no to that. haha! So here it is, my Valentine's Day tree. I went to several stores trying to find Christmas stuff on clearance but most were cleared out already (Jan 3rd). I called around and Kmart still had a small selection so I went and bought all the pink and red things I could find that would work. Then ventured to Hobby Lobby to buy up a bunch of Valentine's items that could work on the tree. Surprisingly they had Valentine's ornaments and garland. I ended up adding to the tree after taking this picture. I felt there were a few bare spots so I went back to Hobby Lobby and bought another pack of heart ornaments and a bouquet of pink fake roses. I cut them all apart and placed them in the bare areas... just haven't gotten around to taking more pics. :)

Now the kids and I are making a list of all the holidays we can decorate for. I have a feeling some will be challenging to find ornaments and things for certain themes but challenge accepted. I'll gladly craft some up. :) It's going to be a fun year of decorating with our tree.

Thank You Goodie Basket for Mail Carriers http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-110521/Mail-Carrier-Thank-You.html Happy Holiday!

I just wanted to share with you what I am doing to say thank you to our hardworking mail carriers. I don't know about you but I do a lot of online shopping and just wanted to do a little something this holiday season to show my appreciation. We have several different mail carriers that come by (seems to be always someone different) so it's hard to give individual gifts to each of them but THIS idea is totally perfect....

There are so many different goodies you could put out for them, even homemade treats. I went with some waters which I just wrapped with washi tape and then added a variety of snack foods and some peppermint candies. Just some little things they could enjoy while doing their route.

If you'd like to use the letter shown above that I made, I'll put the printable image right below for you. I left our name off so you can add in your own between the cute little Santa and elf. You'll just open it up, print it, add your name and fold it over the box or basket. Easy peasy!

And a big thank you to Lisa Gwin. I came across her post while scrolling through Facebook. I knew I had to do something for my mail carriers as well and share with others so they can do the same.

Happy Holidays!

How To Make Planner Stickers using Cricut Design Space http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-110136/Making-Planner-Stickers-In-Cricut-Design-Space.html Do you love using a paper planner? I do! I also still use the calendar on my iPhone/computer(s) but there is nothing like having it on paper. :) I love making lists, planning ahead and of course, since I love paper crafting I want my planner to look cute too. After having an Erin Condren, a Happy Planner, a Day Planner, an ARC planner I still wasn't feeling plannerfied <<< totally just made that word up. LOL! I loved the inserts for many of them but was wanting a different look of the actual planner, so I bit the bullet and "invested" in my dream planner. Ahhhh, I'm absolutely loving it!!! However, it comes empty and you have to purchase the inserts separately. There are tons of A5 size inserts out there to choose from. I have done a lot of research looking into a bunch of them to see which ones I wanted to go with. I'm still narrowing it down between a few companies for the 2017 inserts, for this agenda. Yes, I use 2. (I'm crazy like that) I plan on using my Close To My Heart 2017 planner for my businesses and this one for a little of everything. In the meantime, I found printable ones I liked on Etsy and have been printing them out myself. They are very much like the Erin Condren layouts, except the Saturday and Sunday boxes are stacked to accommodate the A5 size (as shown in the pic below).

I love the look of planners with stickers on them but couldn't see myself actually ordering tons and tons of stickers on Etsy. Well actually, I totally CAN see myself doing that but since I'm pretty crafty I decided to figure out how to do it on my own so I could create what I wanted, whenever I need them and not have to purchase any. I played around with Cricut Design Space a bunch to figure things out and finally have it down where I can get all my stickers designed out for the following week, printed, cut and on my planner in about 30 minutes. Sometime it takes longer if I am having a hard time deciding on which designs to go with but the process doesn't take too long. Well, I figured I'd share how easy it is so you can jazz up your planners if you'd like too. :)

 Here is a video I made to walk you through how I make them...

Hope this was helpful. Let me know if you have questions.

Damask Divas Blog Hop Featuring Happy Times http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-107666/Damask-Divas-Happy-Times-Blog-Hop.html Hello, Hello!

Are you ready to check out some fabulous Happy Times projects?! Well get ready cause our Close To My Heart National Scrapbooking promo is this awesome Happy Times paper pack and some of my Damask Divas team and I are going to be sharing our projects with you.

Here is the quick & easy project I made...

I used a glass mason jar and coated the bottom of the jar with liquid glass. I just used my finger to smear it all in and a paper towel to get the line straight all the way around. Then sprinkled pink glitter all over the jar until the liquid glass area was completely covered. I let that dry then just cut a strip of the Happy Times floral print paper and adhered the strip around the jar. Super easy! To jazz it up and a little sentiment I used the Artistry Cricut Cartridge from Close To My Heart and cut out the tag, stamped the banner portion of the tag with "you are fabulous", added some sequins and attached it with some white twine..... viola. It was so easy. Then I wanted another little giftie to go with the flowers so I jazzed up this little tin filled with chocolates. Nothing fancy... just some paper adhered to the inside and tied some orange tulle in a bow. Easy but cute, don't you think?

You know I'm all about quick & easy these days. It's all I've really had time for lately with the little ones.

To check out more fab projects, please HOP on over to Cheri's blog HERE.

If you'd like to order this Happy Times paper pack you may order here or from the consultant who sent you here. It's actually FREE with a $60 order and we are also offering an exclusive D-sized coordinating stamp set for $17.95.

Quick and Easy La Vie En Rose Card http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-106549/Quick-La-Vie-En-Rose-Card.html I wanted to share the quick card I made today using the La Vie En Rose Paper Pack from Close To My Heart. It's my current favorite paper pack. I'm loving the black and white stuff... which is probably no surprise since my craft room is decorated the same. :)

I simply used a white card base and covered it with the black and white polka dot paper. Then used the pink zip strip which is the extra strip that comes on our 12 x 12 paper and then placed one of our Picture My Life Cards in the Beautiful You set right over the top. PML cards can be used for so many different things. Super easy to use with cards, you can add them to your scrapbook pages, do a pocket page layout, add them in your planner.... so much fun stuff. You should check them HERE out if you don't already have any. I then just added that cute little bow that comes in the Fundamentals Accessories Gold Set.

Super quick and easy that I had time to jazz up the envelope too. I just used a strip of the paper and cut it to fit exactly on the envelope flap, then added some of the pink to match up with the card even more. Easy peasy!!!

Can't wait to mail out this Hello Darling Card. :)

Damask Divas Everyday Life Planner Blog Hop http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-106038/Everyday-Life-Planner.html Hi all! Welcome to the Damask Divas Team Blog Hop featuring our Brand New Everyday Life Planner from Close To My Heart. Have you seen it yet? It's so awesome. I'm excited several of my team members and I are going to be sharing it with you on this hop. I hope we're able to give you a variety of ideas for using it.

Are you the planner type? Or do it all digital? I tend to keep track of things both in a paper planner format and online. There are some things I need to pop up and alert me but others I want written down that I can see and check off as I go. And let me tell you ... I'm SOOOO excited that Close To My Heart now offers a planner line, it's amazing! Not only can you use it as a planner but you can document your day to day life, add pocket pages for pictures and picture my life (PML) cards, plus add in My Crush pages to do like a mini scrapbook. Eek... it's so fun. The possibilities are endless.

There are so many different ways you can use your planner. I debated whether I wanted to use it to track my new diet/exercise program, everyday activities, blog schedule, work, kids, etc.... I ended up using the weekly spread as my check list of things I need to do that day which combines a little of it all. As a busy mom with 4 kids (2 are in school), you can imagine all the running around I do, plus their sports (karate, gymnastics and volleyball), and I work from home. So my list is quite long and this weekly layout gives me the perfect amount of space to keep a list of what tasks I need to do, errands I need to run, bills to get paid, etc.

(*Click photos to view larger}

I wanted mine to look even more jazzed up so I cut out small rectangles using the sheets in the My Crush pack that is an add on item for theEveryday Life Planner line. They were cut out at 2" x 1.5". I added the sticker strip that comes with the calendar pages to the bottom of each rectangle. I loved the look of it but also plan to add text there too. I used some of my Close To My Heart stamp sets (Camper Crazy, My Life and Crazy Good)

For the inside cover page I used this months promo cards, which you so NEED.... they are called Live Your Day and are only $8.95 this month. They can be used for the planner pages, put on cards, home décor, scrapbooking, and so much more. I added a little washi tape, some treasured puffies and just had fun making it look cute. At the beginning of each month I am using the pocket memory protectors and putting the month and birthday list that came in the Live Your Day cards. I mixed in some other PML cards and will add in some pictures on the back side once I print some. :)

And if you're wondering what it looks like when you get it, here it is...

Hope I gave you some ideas ... I know my team has lots more. So let me pass you over to the next Damask Diva on the hop list.... Jennifer Dykstra. CLICK HERE to head on over and check out her fabulous planner pages.

If you're interested in ordering your own Everyday Life Planner or would like to check out Close To My Heart products, CLICK HERE or on one of the Damask Divas Team Members links. We're all happy to help you!!!

{Craft - Makeup - Office} Room Tour http://www.mypassionforscrapbooking.com/blogpost-105937/Craft-Makeup-Office-Room-Tour.html I finally had a moment to make a video of my new {Craft - Makeup - Office} Room for all of you who wanted to see....

The Workbox 2.0 was purchased at The Original Scrapbox Company. I'm absolutely loving it. Everything has a place, it stays tidy and it sure looks pretty, don't you think? I had searched around to see how others had organized their workbox's as I was waiting on it to arrive and hadn't seen anyone else add the paper but for me that was a must. It was the first thing I wanted to do. I think it added so much not only for covering up what is inside but for the décor in the room. I'm loving the black & white stripe look with pops of gold.

{*Click photo to view larger}

I love that I can adjust the shelves and make it work for exactly how I need it. Having the perfect size space for my Close To My Heart My Acrylix Stamp Sets sure makes me happy too. Most all of my craft products mentioned in the video are from Close To My Heart. You can check them out HERE if you'd like. On top of my Workbox I showed that glitter M that lights up and the lipstick bank, both are from Hobby Lobby. And then I have a bunch of my Close To My Heart awards that I've earned.

{*Click photo to view larger}

My vanity table and desk table were ordered on Amazon. I loved the size and they worked perfect for the space. My Hollywood vanity mirror is from Impressions Vanity. It's the glow mirror and I got the LED frosted lights for it. I absolutely love it! It lights up the entire room so you can imagine how awesome it is for when I'm applying my makeup and doing makeup videos. My most frequently used Younique makeup products are displayed in a clear organizer that I purchased at Home Goods. I love having them out and handy to grab what I need. The rest of my makeup that doesn't fit on my vanity is in an aqua Ikea Raskog cart and is hidden behind the Workbox doors on the left. On the vanity table I also have a gold vase with white flowers that I purchased at Home Goods and the framed Be You Tiful piece is something I found at Ross. I love those types of stores for affordable home décor pieces.

{*Click photo to view larger}

And I just had to share this cute pic of Londyn (my 3 year old daughter) playing with her makeup on my vanity. She loves the play makeup from Little Cosmetics. :)

{*Click photo to view larger}

Still trying to figure out what I want to do for that random corner with the aqua rack. I thought it would be great to have my TV, printer and misc things on but I was wrong. It doesn't really go. :( So pretend you didn't see that area and lets hope I find something I love for that corner soon. If I could elimate it all I would but as I mentioned in the video my kiddos like watching cartoons while I'm in here crafting, doing my makeup or working so it kinda needs to stay.

On my desk table I just have my all-in-one computer, postage scale, kate spade stamp set and business cards.  The décor pieces on the wall are from Home Goods, Marshalls and Ross. The frame with wire to hang stuff is from Close To My Heart. The drawers below my desk are the sterilite brand and I just jazzed them up with some patterned paper. I also store my Younique makeup trunk that I earned under the desk.

{*Click photo to view larger}

I hope you enjoyed the tour of my room. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer.
