For this weeks Thankful Thursday I wanted to share with you a card I received from one of my downlines, Crystal Siraton. How adorable is this card? SUPER ADORABLE!!! She made me a congrats card and it was given to me at my baby shower. So sweet!!! Thank you Crystal for the gorgeous card.

CTMH Aspiration Card w/ Unforgettables Paper Pack

These adorable flowers are definetly one of my favorites. They come in the CTMH Aspiration stamp set and match up perfectly with the CTMH Unforgettables paper pack. That's one of the great things about using Close To My Heart products... they always match up. You never have to worry about searching for an ink to go with your paper or even search for a stamp set to coordinate with your favorite paper cause Close To My Heart does that for us. Gotta love that!

For this card I stamped the larger flower with Blush ink and Cocoa Ink. It's hard to tell but the little dots and the center part of the flower have Liquid Glass on them to give a great shine to the card. On the little flowers which were stamped with Juniper I used the tiny sparkles to give them some pop as well. One thing you can do to complete your card is add matching paper to your envelope. It is very simple to do and I think it adds a lot. Hope you like it!

Stylin Maverick 2 Page Scrapbook Layout

I love this 2 page scrapbook layout I created using Close To My Heart Notebook Level paper. It's actually from a Level 1 paper pack and I totally modified it. The pages didn't match up at all... one was a front and center page and the other was a title topper but I used the extra B&T paper to run along the bottom of both pages as well as add the My Stickease blue polka dot lines across the top. Pretty cute, huh? My little man is so stinking cute but since we don't post pics of the kiddos online I blurred his precious little face. How cute are all his little man outfits?

For the letters I used the CTMH Dimensional Elements Simple Alphabet in the uppercase for stylin and lowercase for Maverick. I used twilight ribbon from a ribbon round and added some metal embellishments to the letters that I had on hand. Not sure what brand they are... I believe I picked them up in a $1 bin. Gotta love that!

CTMH Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Recipe Box

Here is the paper crafted recipe box I made for the CTMH Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week. I used the Close To My Heart Felicity Kit with My Stickease from the CTMH Abundance Level 1 kit. The ribbon is from the Organdy Basic Ribbon Round. .

My inspiration for this accordian box was from this weeks Splitcoast Stampers email. It is meant to be an Accordian Card Holder but I thought it would be perfect as a recipe box. The tutorial I followed suggested using a magnet for the closure but since I didn't have any on hand I used a velcro closure and it worked great. To view the tutorial, click here.

CTMH Twitterpated LOVE Scrapbook Layouts

I just finished up this 2 page layout using CTMH Twitterpated Level 2 paper pack. This is one of my all time FAVORITE paper packs from Close To My Heart. The layout is from the Twitterpated Workshop on the go kit that was previously available.

CTMH Caboodle Scrapbook Layouts - My First...

For these layouts I used CTMH Caboodle. I thought this paper pack was fun and the perfect to show off Maverick's first car ride, first bath, first time being in his craddle (first and only time..haha), first time being in his crib (he doesn't sleep there so I had to put him in it to snap a cute pic in his adorable nursery).

For the MY FIRST... letters I used the CTMH MyAcrylix Clear stamp set Cobblestone Alphabet, for the stars I used CTMH Star Power on caboodle paper. The funky arrow stamp used is called This Way and is from the Caboodle Workshop on the Go kit. If you look closely you'll see that I spent a great deal of time sewing on this layout. NOT!!! I used CTMH Simple Stiches to create that look. My favorite part of this layout aside from my adorable son is the CTMH Flip Flaps. If you haven't tried them you MUST order some. They are awesome. You can add them to any layout over the clear protector and add additional photos, journaling, etc. The layout on the right side has a Flip Flap attached. I stamped read me with a little tag from the CTMH Confidentials stamp set so you could easily tell you need to flip it up. When you lift it up you'll see all my journalling. Since I wanted to write a little about each "first" I figured this would be a way to add to it so there wasn't so much wording showing.
