Just wanted to share this quick Personalized Name/Established Date Frame I made today for our mantle.

Although it looks like I used burlap, it's actually just a picture of burlap. ;) I did a search on for "burlap" and then saved a photo of burlap material to my computer and used to create it. I started with a custom 8"x10" blank slate and then added the burlap picture and stretched it out to fit. Then found various fonts that I liked and made a big red "L" for our last name, Leahy. Then found a script font I liked for the "Michael & Mandy"... for this I created one in white and one in black and then layered them so it looked 3D. Then found another font for the established date (our wedding date) and lined everything up exactly how I wanted it. Done.... Easy peasy!

I saved the finished project and pulled it up on my computer to print at 8" x 10", I selected the "fit picture to frame" and printed it on a glossy 8.5" x 11" photo paper, trimmed the white edges off with my CTMH Fiskars Paper Trimmer and it was ready to go in the frame. I purchased the frame on sale at JoAnn's craft store and just placed the finished print in the frame and it was mantle ready.

What do you think?
