#ProjectADay Challenge Day 11: Add a Tag

Just wanted to share the project I made for day eleven of the #projectaday challenge.... Add a Tag.

I decided to try something new by using a hexagon overlay that was cut using the Artbooking Cricut Collection from Close To My Heart and using that as a stencil to add the hexagon pattern to my tag. This is so fun and can be used on cards, scrapbook layouts, etc. I took pics to share how you do this...

Your first step will obviously be to cut out an overlay using the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge and then lay it over the paper you'd like to ink up. You'll want to hold it snug so it doesn't move around while you are inking it (you could also use a spray pen with reinker). I used a Sponge Dauber and covered the area evenly with CTMH Cranberry Ink. Then when you are done you remove the stencil and tada.... a cute pattern is now on your cardstock. Next I added some washi tape to the tag to coordinate with the bag that I had made and added some Dimensional Element Hearts which I inked up also.
