#ProjectADay Challenge Day 8 : Winter

It's day 8 of the #projectaday challenge! Today's theme is winter! This is a tough one for me since I live in California and it's about 76 right now. I know many of you are experiencing ridiculously cold temperatures, lots of snow, schools closed, etc. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA so I've never lived where it gets cold like that. We actually were swimming on New Years Day. :)

I was stumped when trying to come up with a Winter project so I ended up making a card for a friend dealing with some crazy weather and hopefully this will brighten her day.

I chose to use cheerful, bright colors (lagoon, cotton candy, pear and twilight) and some of our silver glitter paper. I random stamped the background using the Single Snowflake stamp set, added some banners and used the Art Philosophy, Artiste AND the Artbooking Cricut Cartridges. Yep, all three of our awesome Cricut Collections. The snowflake was cut using the Art Philosophy, the s, n & w were from the Artiste and the happy & day were from the Artbooking.
