Sending LoVe with an Embellished Tiled CardCategory: My Crafty Projects | Permalink Published: Thursday, April 09, 2009 Here is a quick card I made after being inspired by my Designing with Words, Reference Idea Book by Autumn Leaves. To make this card I cut brown cardstock for the background, adhered it to the card, found coordinating colors and cut to approx 1" x 1 1/2". I then used my cuddlebug machine with swiss dots embossing folder on the red pieces to make them stand out a bit. I love the dry embossed look... I think it adds so much. I adhered all the cut pieces to the brown card stock. I added the word love with chatterbox stickers. I know shocking... I never use stickers. I've given most all of them to Brooklyn our 4 year old who now has more stickers than she knows what to do with. Next I embellished with flowers, buttons, brads and twine. I used my fiskars punch to create this scalloped edge along the bottom and taaaadaaaa!
