Delight in Everything Hand Stamped Flower CardCategory: My Crafty Projects | Permalink Published: Friday, April 03, 2009 Tonight I made this cute and simple hand stamped card. (Details below) I started with a white 5.5" x 5.5" card, 3 Close To My Heart Exclusive Ink Pads (Petal, Tulip & Crystal Blue), my Delight in Everything My Acrylix clear stamp set from Close To My Heart, some extra embellishments, adhesives and went to work. I first attached the clear stamp to the clear block.... did "tap, tap, twist, twist and tap, tap" to get the ink on the stamp nice and good. I laid down the foam piece that the stamps come on to do my stamping. I used the stamps in what's know as a three stamp method by taking one flower and stamping it 3 times on the card in a somewhat triangular position on the card, then I moved on to a different flower stamp, changed colors, and so on. I did the same 3 stamp method again, once it was pretty well filled up I went back and touched up a few areas to add some color where necessary. All in all there were only 5 flower stamps used (2 large & 3 small, plus the delight in everything stamp). To give it a little pop I stamped a large flower with the petal stamp pad on a separate white cardstock, cut it out, added a red button, used a 3D foam adhesive and placed it perfectly above the same flower already stamped with petal on the card. I moved on to the "delight in everything" and stamped that on the crystal blue paper from the emporium paper pack, backed it with a red cardstock and used four 3D foam adhesives on all the corners to make is stand out a bit from the card. Lastly I added the red polka dot ribbon across the bottom and viola. Pretty simple huh? I always enjoy using the stamp set, Delight in Everything. I love how versatile this set is. If you don't already have this set you should definitely add get it. To Order Close To My Heart Products, Click Here! Stamp Set: Delight in Everything (D1204)
