Hoppy Easter Card

Can you believe it's almost Easter? Oh my! This year is already flying by. Anywhoo... just wanted to share this cute Easter Card using the new Hoppy Easter stamp set from Close To My Heart and the Chantilly paper pack.

To create this fun little card I stamped that adorable little bunny on some CTMH White Cardstock with CTMH Black Ink and used our awesome Alcohol Based Markers to add a little color. The little pennant banners were cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge along with the cute little flowers in the bottom corner and the scalloped rectangle which I cut small for the Hoppy Easter sentiment.

Do you see those little buttons in between the banners? Would you believe they started as clear buttons? Yep, I got some clear buttons from Close To My Heart, inked them up with our Blush Pigment Ink and then took some sparkley translucent embossing powder, sprinkled it over the top and the used my heat gun to set it. Pretty cleaver, right? I learned it from one of my uber talented downlines, Stephanie Davis. She rocks! So pretty much you can turn clear buttons into any color you'd like. She had used clear embossing powder but all I could find was the glittery stuff which worked perfect also.
