Baby Leahy Gender Reveal Layout using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge

I wanted to share the news with you all by showing you this cute scrapbook layout that I made to announce the gender and of course get a head start on my scrapbooking for this little bundle.

Well guess what?!?! It's a GIRL!!! We are so thrilled. Her name is Londyn Melia Leahy.

To make this layout I, of course used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I'm not joking when I say I literally use this Cricut Cartridge for EVERYTHING (cards, layouts, gift bags, tags... you name it)!!! On this particular layout I used it for everything you see (scalloped circles, scalloped rectangle, pennant banners, flowers, circles, tag and swirls).

The paper I used is the new Lucy Paper Pack from Close To My Heart. Isn't it so cute?!? Perfect for little girl layouts. I cut a bunch of flowers and stamped them with the coordinating stamp set CTMH Hooray Bouquet. To give them a 3D look I used my paper piercer (you could also use a pen) and rolled each petal around the paper piercer to curl it. Once curled I gently bent the cardstock up at the base of each petal. The flowers were cut on CTMH Cotton Candy cardstock (which comes with the Lucy Paper Pack) and stamped with Cotton Candy ink, and Creme Brulee cardstock (also comes with Lucy) with Sunflower ink. I thought this was the perfect pop of color. Each flower has a little CTMH Sparkle (rhinestone) on them, so does the Colonial White swirl scrolly thing that is under the flowers. =")" It may be hard to see but I stamped little butterflies with Cotton Candy ink onto the Grey Wool cardstock (also came with Lucy). The butterflies are from the CTMH New Arrival stamp set. The set is so cute for new baby layouts.

The adorable pennant banner that says "It's a GIRL" is stamped with the CTMH Polka Dot Alphabet with Cotton Candy ink on CTMH Colonial White cardstock. The sparkle irradecent sequin ribbon across the banners is just something I had in my stash. Who knows where I got it but I thought it looked cute for the banner. =")" Then I made a few little tiny bows to separate each word on the banner. I just used white, thin crochet yarn and sponged it with CTMH Cotton Candy ink to make it match. In the bottom right corner where it says "Londyn Melia", which is stamped using CTMH A Typeface with Grey Wool ink... that was one of the little folder tags cut using the Art Philosophy Cartridge. I just trimmed the bottom portion off so it fit well in the corner. =)

Well there you have it... that's my recent layout for the new little bundle. Brooklyn (age 7) is so excited to have a baby sister (she was really hoping it was a girl) and Maverick (22 months) doesn't quite understand yet and why he's had to go shopping with mommy ALL the time for frilly baby girl clothes. Hee hee! He knows something is up though cause he comes over and kisses my belly, which is way too cute!
