Valentine's Day Cookie Holder | Matching Card

I just finished this coordinating set thought I'd share it with you all! It's a Valentines Day cookie holder with matching Valentine's Day card. Looks as though my hubby will get this one since I used M & M (for us) on the front of the card.

Brief Tutorial:

Valentine's Day Cookie Holder... I traced a heart pattern on a sheet of red card stock, cut, folded and glued the tabs together to form the heart. Then I cut a strip of red, pink and white polka dot paper along with a pink glitter edged strip and glued those to the front of the card. I used card stock letters and attached them to the heart with foam squares to make them pop a bit. I put a yummy cookie my mother in law made (they're the best) in a clear baggie, cut the top and tied hugs & kisses red ribbon and was done! 

Valentine's Day Card... I used a red card, cut another strip of the polka dot paper, stamped 2 inkadinkado hearts with cranberry cats eye color box ink on white card stock, I cut out the hearts, used the foam squares to attach the hearts to the card, glued the M & M letters down to the strip of polka dot paper and then off to the polka dot flower. I LOVE using flowers! To give it a little more pop I used 1 red, 1 white and 1 pink button and used zots to stick them closely together. And that was it! Pretty simple, huh?  

FYI: I came across a pattern for the heart online.. can't remember where but i have the template saved on my computer so let me know if you want me to send it to you.
