Holiday Grapevine Wreath using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut CartridgeCategory: My Crafty Projects | Permalink Published: Thursday, November 17, 2011 Need a fun idea for a Christmas Wreath? How about using a grapevine wreath and dress it up with paper crafts like this one... I love the look of the bright colors from the Close To My Heart Believe Paper Pack on this grapevine wreath. Here are some quick instructions to making this wreath... FLOWERS: I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to make all the flowers (sizes 4" to 5 1/2"). If you'd like to check out my video tutorial for making the 3D paper flowers, click here. The flowers I used are the rose ones with the scalloped edge. ACCORDIAN CIRCLES: These were made using several strips of patterned paper & cardstock (3/4"- 2" wide x 12" long), scored each strip at every 1/4", cut off 1 tiny accordion fold so they fit together correctly and adhered the ends together. My tip on the accordion circles is to use a hot glue gun otherwise they end up not staying flat....at least that is what I've experienced. I also adhere them using hot glue to circles (1" - 1 3/4") that I cut using the cartridge to secure them extra good so they don't change shape. I haven't done a video tutorial on these accordion circles yet (maybe I will) but you just need to put hot glue on your circles and lay the accordion ring over the circle, push down on the top of the accordion strip bringing it all together, hold it on the glue for a few seconds to secure it and tada!
