Paper Christmas Tree using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge

Just wanted to share this little paper Christmas Tree I made last night during my late night craft sesh! =) I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge from Close To My Heart and the Believe Paper Pack.

To make this I used 8 scalloped pennant banners cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge at 5" and scored each one down the center. When you flip the pennant banner over you have a perfect Christmas Tree shape. See below...

I then used some CTMH Topiary Ink and sponged all the edges with the green ink. Next I took some adhesive and matched up two flaps together and connected all the pennant banners together to form the tree. See below...

Once I got the tree formed I used some CTMH Glitz to add some sparkly ornaments around the tree. =)

For the star I cut 3 out using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge at 1 1/4", scored them all down the center and adhered them all to each other. Then added CTMH Glitz to make it sparkle. I stick a straight pin and put the ball side into the tree and just slid the center of the star over the pin. You can see how I made the star in this video below. It's the same star I used at the top of my BIG rolled flower Christmas Tree. The star is shown toward the end of this video.

You could easily make this tree in a much larger size or even smaller depending on where you'd like to put it.
