Stocking Wall Decor using Holiday Magic | October Stamp of the Month

I'm loving these stockings from the Holiday Magic, October Stamp of the Month set from Close To My Heart. The best part is you can cut the stocking shape using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge so you don't have to worry about cutting them out. This cartridge makes crafting so much easier now. Love it!

Although this may look like a card in the picture it is actually an 8"x10" canvass. Prior to attaching everything to the canvass I did some background stamping on the red paper using the my favorite stamp set ever, Damask Tiles. It is retired but considering I LOVE LOVE LOVE Damask I still use it often. =)

As I mentioned above all the stockings were cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge at 3 1/2". I then stamped them with Cranberry, Topiary and Black ink from Close To My Heart. I cut out the M, M, B & M using the cartridge as well. These represent the first letter of each of our names.... Mike, Mandy, Brooklyn & Maverick. I used some black and white polka dot ribbon that I had in my stash and tied knots where I wanted to "hang" each stocking. Once I had adhered the letters to the stockings using CTMH Liquid Glass, I added 3 little dots using Glitz to jazz up the letters. I used some 3D foam squares to attach the stockings to the handstamped damask paper and lastly I attached the page to the canvass using glue dots.
