CTMH Roxie Paper Cupcake using Art Philosophy Cricut CartridgeCategory: My Crafty Projects | Permalink Published: Saturday, September 17, 2011 Who doesn't love cupcakes? How about a paper cupcake?!? I made this one using flowers cut on Roxie paper with the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I did a few different layers using the roses and swirly paper flowers. I accordion folded some black cardstock to go between the flowers and covered it with CTMH Sparkles (Rhinestones) and jazzed up each of the flowers with a dot of CTMH Glitz. Underneath there is a 3" Styrofoam ball. I made a little holder for it by cutting a 6" circle and another 2 1/2" circle for inside it and then cut 4 slits in towards the smaller circle. Once I made the slits I just folded them around the ball and glued it. Then covered it in the CTMH Roxie Zebra Paper that I scored at every 1/2" (2 strips of 12" paper), according paper folded it and adhered the 2 pieces together and then to the cupcake base. Here is a close up look at the flowers... I wanted to also share these yummy looking {fake} cupcakes that I made for my friend Deanna's Baby Shower a couple years ago. She did her babies room pink & brown cupcakes and actually has these displayed in her daughters room. Here is the blog post with more details about the cupcakes below if you're interested, click here!
