3D Paper Dress Tutorial & Card using CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut CartridgeCategory: My Crafty Projects | Permalink Published: Thursday, September 15, 2011 I wanted to try something new today so I played around with a scalloped circle and came up with this adorable 3D Paper Dress.
Isn't that cute? Check out the video to learn how I made this 3D paper dress... I have seen some cards that were cut in the shape of a dress using a scalloped circle but you know me and my curiosity.... I had to see what I could come up with so after a few experiments I made this. =) The scalloped circle was cut using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge at 3". I made a few of them in larger sizes too and they looked cute but the 3" size is perfect for cards. The flower was also cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge at 1". I stamped it with blush ink using the Wonderful You stamp set. Any stamp set will do... I was just trying to give it color without using a solid pink. I cut the card at 4 1/2" using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and then stamped the cute dress form from the retired CTMH stamp set, Find Your Style. It was the January Stamp of the Month in 2010... such an adorable stamp set. I cut the hearts on the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge too using the CTMH Roxie Paper Pack. Those were cut at 3/4", I inked up all the edges with black ink and put faux stitching by just using a CTMH Black Marker. Easy Peasy! Hope you enjoyed the video! Have fun making 3D paper dresses. I'd love to see your artwork if you end up making one. =) TO ORDER THE ART PHILOSOPHY CRICUT COLLECTION, CLICK HERE! Paper: CTMH Roxie Level 2 Paper Pack & CTMH White Daisy
