CTMH Roxie Card & Box Set using Art Philosophy Cricut CartridgeCategory: My Crafty Projects | Permalink Published: Wednesday, September 07, 2011 I wanted to share this cute little box and matching card that I made using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge from Close To My Heart and the super fun Roxie Paper Pack. This was super easy to make and would make a great little gift with some chocolates and a gift card. I took some pics along the way so you could see how the box cuts out and how easy it really was. In this first picture I wanted to show how the image looks after being cut out using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I also used the random stamping technique with the flower that comes on one of the sets you get with the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection. I used Smoothie and Blush Ink and stamped the flowers onto Smoothie cardstock which comes in the Roxie Level 2 Paper Pack. Then all I did was cut a 1" strip of the zebra paper that is also in the Roxie Paper Pack and then trimmed it to fit each section as shown in the picture below. When the cartridge cuts out the box it puts little cuts to indicate the score (fold) lines. Once you are finished with the stamping and adhering the paper all you do is turn it over, fold up the sides up, connect the smaller sides with the slit at the top (already cut by the cricut) and then secure the other 2 sides together with some ribbon. I also cut out a little heart window tag using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to attach to the ribbon. =) See... I told you it was super easy. For the card.... I cut it out with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and random stamped it just like the box. Here is how it looks before it's folded up. Then all I did was add a strip of zebra paper, the little fancy shape that I cut out with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, inked up all the edges, stamped it, tied ribbon around it and TA-DA!!! It's really that simple! Here is the finished product again... Products Used: Paper: CTMH Roxie Paper Pack TO ORDER THE ART PHILOSOPHY CRICUT CARTRIDGE, CLICK HERE!
