Girls Room Decor using CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut CartridgeCategory: My Crafty Projects | Permalink Published: Sunday, September 04, 2011 A few months ago Brooklyn and I were shopping and found a really cool piece of artwork with guitars and pink animal print. She loved it! So we bought it and decided to redo her room in a super Girlie Rock Star theme since she LOVES music so much! I've been buying stuff here and there but wanted to make something handmade to add to her room. This is what I came up with...
I used the fabulous new CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut the flowers .... all 27 of them. The flowers range in size from 1 1/2" to 6" and were cut using CTMH Black Cardstock. The heart was also cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I used CTMH Hollyhock paper and cut it at 8". The overall frame measures 11" x 13"... I have a stash of frames that I get at Joann's when they are on sale. The zebra paper is not CTMH. Booo! I love the zebra print that we have in our Roxie Paper Pack but I needed black and white so I resorted to Joann's to pick up this 1 sheet of zebra paper. It's actually velvety... ooooh lala! =) The only thing inside the frame is the zebra paper. I attached all the rolled paper flowers to the heart, then put the heart over the glass and topped it off with a dab of CTMH Glitz in the center of each flower. She loved how it turned out and can't wait for her room to be ready to hang it up. Are you interested in seeing other artwork I have made using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge?
