Wondering what you can do with extra baby wipe containers you have around? Don't toss them... alter them! Here is what I created using a Huggies baby wipe container....

This is going to look perfect in Brooklyn's bathroom to store all over her hair clips, bows and rubber bands.
To create this I used the Roxie Paper Pack from Close To My Heart, the new MUST HAVE Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and that gorgeous ribbon from CTMH Designer Ribbon Pink Collection.
- I cut 4 pieces of Roxie plaid paper to cover the base of the container... 2 long strips for the front and back and 2 shorter pieces for the sides.
- I adhered the plaid paper to the box with CTMH Liquid Glass and made sure that the front and back pieces went over the side pieces to keep them nice and secure and give clean lines when looking at the box.
- Next I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and some Kraft paper to cut out the name (Brooklyn) for the front of the box. I used the Font Layer Feature Key to get the 3 little holes in the letters.
- I painted the top portion of the box that is under the ribbon brown with some cheap paint I picked up at Michael's Craft Store. Since this box was white you could see it through the ribbon and I wasn't liking the look of it. Trust me... my paint job looks hideous but it's covered by the ribbon so it doesn't matter. =)
- I cut out the rectangle with Kraft paper, used my corner rounder punch to round the corners, inked up the edges with CTMH chocolate ink and had fun creating flowers using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I cut the large flower at 6" and the 2 small ones at 3".
- I cut the flourish also using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge... and trimmed it to fit just under the large flower.
- The leaves were actually the rain drops on the cartridge and then I ran them through my paper crimper.
- I used CTMH Glitz to add lots of sparkles to the flourish. I feel like I'm in Middle School using puff paints when I use the Glitz but love the finished results. I also put a little dab in the center each of the flowers.
- I created a zig zaggy pleated ribbon look using a strip of Roxie paper. LOL! There I go again making up my own name for something I don't know what it is actually called. I just folded it back and angled each piece to give it a different look. Then I got to play with Glitz again and put a dot on each pleat.
- Lastly I cut the CTMH Designer Ribbon from the Pink Collection to fit around the lid and adhered it using CTMH Liquid Glass.
- Ta-da!!!
Here is a closer look at the lid... I covered the flap completely cause I figured she didn't need to reach her hand in the box when she can just lift the lid. It also made it much easier for me this way. =)
