Paper Flower Ornament using CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge

I wanted to share this paper flower ornament that I just made...

You'd think I'd be so over rolling paper flowers after spending 15 hours on the Christmas Tree. Speaking of the Christmas Tree... Did you submit your guess yet of how many flowers you think I used to make it? Head on over to my GIVEAWAY page for a chance to win the fabulous new Art Philosophy Cricut Collection!!!

Ok back to this cute paper flower ornament. I almost think this would be really pretty for a wedding... what do you think?

To make this I used a 3" Styrofoam ball....well actually it was called a smooth ball. I bought it in a package of 6 from Michael's Craft Store and it was much cheaper than the actual Styrofoam ones... gotta love a great deal! I used the zig zaggy flower from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I have no clue what to call these flowers so I've been making up my own names for them. =) It's the one on the bottom right in this pic. I cut them all at 3" and then filled in the spaces with 1 3/4" cut flowers. I used 5 pieces of cardstock to create all the flowers. To add the ribbon I just tied a little knot to secure the end of the ribbon together and pushed some pins into it along with a flower right on top. Pretty fun, huh?

Gorgeous!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. My father in law just passed away and these will make great decorations for the service at the church (I will try to manly it up a bit).... Wonder if I could find some matte finish waterproof material to make a flower arrangement for the gravesite the same way but using a brick style foam?!?!?!
