CTMH Memory Game Box for ABC Flash Cards

I wanted to share with you all what I came up with for the new Close To My Heart Memory Game Box. I decided to use it for alphabet flash cards for my son. This adorable box with magnetic closure comes with 24- 3"x3" chipboard pieces. I figured why not use them for the ABC's and on the 24th card I combined XYZ. I think it turned out cute and would make a great teacher gift too. Lots of pics below and you can click on them to view larger... 

Here are the 24 pieces which fit all the ABC's and then XYZ is on the last piece. =) All the letters where cut at 2" using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. The alphabet is SO cute!!! I used the Font Layer feature which cuts the 3 little holes in each letter. I also cut the stars using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge at 1" and 1 1/2" and sponged all the edges in moonstruck ink from Close To My Heart. I also inked each piece of CTMH Elemental Paper in moonstruck before attaching to the 3"x3" chipboard pieces.

Check out the top of my alphabet box which I decorated by using the new CTMH Blue Ribbon Stamp Set and my handy dandy Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I cut the starburst and star with the cricut using the specified size given on the stamp set to coordinate perfect with the stamp set. I used the alphabet stamp from the Vintage Type stamp set to run along the bottom. It worked perfect! Inked it up and embellished it with the CMTH Foundry Pin Clips... love those!
