CTMH Fanfare - Rock Star Birthday Card

How fun is this card?!? Maverick is going to love it.... hee hee! I can't believe my baby boy is going to be 1 year old on May 5th {Cinco de Mayo Baby}. The time has seriously flown by! He's 10 months (almost 11) and is already walking and has a whopping 8 teeth already. It's crazy! Since I've already started planning and making things for his Rock Star birthday party, I figured why not make his 1st Birthday card. =)

For this card I followed the Mojo183 sketch over at Mojo Monday Card Challenges. I used the Close To My Heart Fanfare paper pack with the My Acrylix Clear Stamp set, Star Power for the guitar. The sentiment "Hip hip Horray" is from CTMH Card Chatter- Birthday Set and on the inside it says "It's Your Birthday" in the same font as the front. The pleated strip along the bottom is just out of paper. I thought it was a fun touch.
