Heart 2 Heart Sketch Challenge | CTMH Magnifique

Happy Monday!!! I hope you'll join me this week over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges. This weeks we are doing a Sketch Challenge. (Pictured Right) If you LOVE Close To My Heart products then you've gotta check out the Heart 2 Heart Blog because it is a challenge using just CTMH Products. Not only are they super fun challenges but you also can be inspired by checking out everyone's projects and their take on the challenges.

Here is my take on the sketch:

I had a blast playing around with new paper from the NEW Close To My Heart 2010 Autumn Winter Idea Book that will be available to order from starting September 1st. The paper I used for this card is called Magnifique. I also got to play around with new ink colors from the summer celebration palette called Lagoon and Cotton Candy. The new colors are adorable and will be a must have item to add to your order.

Check out the hand stitching I did... boy did that take forever. I should have just used my sewing machine but it often times scares me. I've ruined one to many cards and layouts so I figured I should get more practice before attempting it again. Plus my sewing machines has soooo many settings and different styles of stitching that I need to figure out which works best for my projects.

Aren't these lovely ladies just so stylish?!?! I thought the Be Yourself My Acrylix stamp set was perfect to highlight this fabulous paper. I stamped each girl in Cotton Candy, then another time in Lagoon and cut our their dresses to make them pop. I finished it off with a matching envelope by stamping another fashionable lady and some cute sentiments from the stamp set.
