CTMH Moon Doggie Baby Shower Onesie Invitations & Cupcake Tags

I wanted to share with you all the Baby Shower Onesie Invitations I made for my baby shower with the help from my cousin Lisa and sister-in-law Sarah (thanks ladies). One thing I would suggest is don't attempt to make them all in one day or don't make as many as we had to make. It was a lot of work. :)

The original idea came from Lauren M's blog. Her template was made much smaller and had a vertical opening. I had to redesign it to work with a larger card and I came up with a horizontal fold (opens to the left). I made a handful of base templates before I finally was happy with it. It gets tricky lining up the circle punch and cutting the sides without it looking like a dress or akward shape. Once the base cardstock was punched and cut, we then used CTMH Moon Doggie to make the tops and used the Martha Stewart punch to make those cute buttons.

Here are the cupcake tags I made to go on the scrumptious cupcakes my sister in law, Sarah made. They looked adorable and were neatly displayed on a cupcake tower. These are simple to make... use a circle punch and punch a bunch of circles, use the scallop circle punch for the background, stamp the hibiscus flower from the Extreme Happiness CTMH My Acrylix Clear Stamp Set on the circles, then use adhesive to attach the circle and scallop to the bamboo stick and VIOLA! :)
